Depending on where you come in the birth order of your family you may or
may not agree with this statement. When I heard it from my niece who spent a summer under the Jordanian sun, I could see some truth in it. Certainly my youngest was showered with the most "sweets".
My baby sister tends to make the most trouble. I might not say she was showered with the most sweets but she definitely has gotten away with the most!
ReplyDeleteI was the youngest. I was pretty sweet but could be tart too. :)
ReplyDeleteoh I am short I like this one! enjoy the salad lol Rebecca
ReplyDeleteI am the youngest of four, so of course it's true! :)
ReplyDeleteAs the oldest in my family, I develop a keen eye for observation. While I think it's true that the youngest receives the most, I think more is expected of them because of the greater opportunities they been given. Just sayin' :-). I hope you have a wonderful day. Blessings...Mary
ReplyDeleteOh, Mary- I've been waiting for someone to say something like that! Thank you for your wisdom. Blessings on your head!
ReplyDeleteI am the oldest of my sisters, guess that explains why I can be such a sourpuss lol!
ReplyDeleteHmmmmmm...not sure if that works in our home. Have a great great week. xoxo
ReplyDeleteCristie-
ReplyDeleteI am related to an Elder Hunt serving in SLC- how did you find my blog? (and put two and two together??) And how have you interacted with my sweet little brother?!! Thank you for the message :) Your blog looks awesome-- I love to cook and bake I think I will start following you!
I love this saying, though I will have to see how that pans out with my boys.
ReplyDeleteI've always been told the best presents come in the smallest packages...which I guess is true if you like things like iPods and jewelry!!
